Overview

God instituted the Lord’s Day to draw His people’s attention to their eternal destiny. The sacraments were instituted to be signs and seals of His covenant with His people. They are a means of His grace which strengthens our spiritual lives by providing us a tangible reminder of His redemptive love and a rich foretaste of the promised glory to come. Yet sadly, many Christians neglect the Lord’s Day and His sacraments as if they were relics of an irrelevant religious past. The next four weeks will challenge you to grapple with the real meaning of the Lord’s Day and the sacraments and to embrace them as a vital and relevant part of your spiritual journey in the modern world.
